This 3rd annual Benefit Concert, organized by Jim & Michelle Galvin & this year with the help of The Stone Church Music Club , is raising money for PACH Outreach (a volunteer-staffed, non-profit organization that provides food and other needed resources to help Pepperell MA residents get back on their feet during difficult times) and the Ayer Masonic Association (a non-profit organization that supports widows of our lodge members and members of our local community that need assistance).

Each benefit show has featured an epic performance by Marc Ford and his band and this year’s show will be packed with surprises and awe-inspiring renditions of Ford originals.

Joining Marc as part his band for the night is drummer Phil Jones, who started his music career as a member of “Crabby Appleton” and whose studio work includes playing on Tom Petty’s solo LP’s (Full Moon Fever and Wildflowers). Playing bass will be Berry Duane Oakley, currently a member of “The Allman Betts Band”.

Although Marc Ford is known by many for his incendiary lead guitar work with rock troubadours “The Black Crowes”, he has worn many hats throughout his storied career. His highly revered solo catalog featuring various backing bands that include some of LA’s Finest session and touring musicians has cemented and showcased his acclaimed songwriting abilities.

Whether it was winning an NAACP award for his work with Ben Harper/Blind Boys of Alabama, producing Oscar winner Ryan Bingham or playing/recording with Izzy Stradlin, Gov’t Mule, Widespread Panic, and Heartbreaker Mike Campbell, Marc continues to blaze a unique path while receiving incredible accolades during each step of the way.

After his recent tenure as co-songwriter and lead guitarist for “The Magpie Salute”, which found him penning a stirring duet with bluegrass legend Alison Krauss, it was time for Marc to get back to his solo career and most recently opened for “The Allman Betts Band” during their fall 2021 tour.

Proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative PCR COVID test within 72 hours of the event, is required for entry into this event.
