More Than Just Gundalows:
Adams Point and the Adams Family
Tuesday December 11 | 7 – 8:30 PM
Portsmouth Public Library
The library’s Local History series continues with local historian Michael Provost, who will discuss the Adams Family.
Capt. Edward H. Adams, a skilled builder and artist, designed and built gundalows, including the Fanny M. in 1886, the last commercially operating gundalow in the area. His work, and his family’s efforts, have inspired many generations to learn about maritime history. Come and hear more about Adams Point and the Adams family legacy.
