‘An Evening of Civil War-era Music’ w/ Bob Kilham at Epping Town Hall

Epping Town Hall
157 Main St.
Epping, NH 03042
United States

Join the Civil War Roundtable of New Hampshire as we welcome New Hampshire’s own Bob Kilham who’ll give us an evening of Civil War era music.

Just like other wars, music was important to the soldiers. The Civil War soldiers of both sides of the war longed for aspects of home life and nothing was more popular than that music of their generation.

Bob Kilham will relay stories of each song and the meaning or origins of how it came to be.

With a passion for music of the 19th century, Bob Kilham formed the Amoskeag Players in the 1990s, but also continued on his own performing at venues throughout New England.

Bob has also earned the Stephen C. Foster Award for perpetuating American music of the times.

Please join us!
