September 19th: Using Your Voice
Inspired by America’s upcoming 250th birthday, our lessons this season will focus on the topic of how people use their voices to change the world around them. We’ll begin with a visit to our “Winds of Change” exhibition and discuss how artists use their work to speak about what’s important to them.
Adult supervision is required for the duration of the program.
The same content will be covered in both the 10am and the 12:30pm session.
This is part of an eight-month series of Homeschool Day events. Participants can sign up for one or all of the events.
Each lesson will take place at the Portsmouth Historical Society, and some may involve field trips to places within walking distance.
