The Rye Driftwood Garden Club members are thrilled to share the bounty of their gardens once again with the Seacoast community! The Club has been busy digging, dividing, and potting up hundreds of healthy, local plants. In addition, area nurseries generously contribute beautiful plants for this special annual event. Our plant sale will feature a wide variety of:
sun and shade perennials
herbs
pollinator plants
shrubs
grasses
plants for garden beds
colorful annuals
hanging baskets
container plants
hostas
Many local businesses support this sale with donations of plants, garden-related items and business services such as restaurant gift certificates, discounts at bookstores, nurseries, and local shops, hair services, gardening supply baskets, and much more! In addition, some community residents and club members generously donate handcrafted items.
The sale also offers:
• Silent Auction of donated goods and services
• Garden-themed raffles
• Bake sale of homemade goodies
• A “name your own pricing” Treasures table full of gardening supplies, books, planters, vases, and other garden-related items.
The club’s knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and help you locate the perfect plant for any spot in your garden. Visitors to the sale can also learn more about the Rye Driftwood Garden Club and how to join this garden-loving membership. You don’t need to live in Rye to join. Our members come from all over the Seacoast and Southern NH area!
Proceeds from the sale are used to support:
• RDGC’s monthly programs and giving back projects.
• The study of horticulture and the environment with scholarships to area schools and educational nonprofits.
• Landscaping grants to local organizations
• Multiple garden spots throughout Rye.
