About New Norde
New Norde is a power pop trio hailing from Dover, New Hampshire.
In the early 2000s, Ryan, Mark, and Pat made shiny emo-pop songs in The Minus Scale. A decade later, less concerned with appearances, the trio’s new project wears its influences—Matthew Sweet, Nada Surf, Randy Newman, Teenage Fanclub, and Guided by Voices—shamelessly on its sleeve.
Beginning in the fall of 2019 and continuing through the pandemic, the band remotely wood-shedding dozens of songs. The result: bleeder (Mint 400 Records/Trash Casual). Blink and you’ll miss this collection of carefully crafted pop nuggets about growing up, getting out, slowing down. And cake.
About Ezra Cohen
Former Notches guitarist Ezra Cohen will perform an acoustic set of songs from his solo debut “The Sweet Million,” which came out earlier this Spring. The full length is an excellent collection of indie pop tunes with a bit of a throwback vibe.
