The Art Center proudly presents “Lines + Texture,” a vibrant solo exhibition by local Seacoast artist Amanda Epperson.
Amanda Epperson, a native of the Seacoast region, brings over four decades of artistic experience to her bold and lively paintings. Her expressive use of vibrant color, graphic linework, and richly textured surfaces reflects a lifelong passion for nature and creative exploration. With a background in graphic design and a thriving design business, Amanda is now channeling her talents more fully into the fine art world.
“I love bold shapes, vibrant color, thick textured paint,” says Epperson. “My work is deeply inspired by nature, movement, and joy.”
Epperson’s journey includes a truly stellar milestone—one of her pieces traveled to space aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis with astronaut Richard Searfoss, marking her as a creator whose work is quite literally out of this world.
Her current series, highlighted in this exhibition, includes energetic florals and sea creatures that pulse with life and rhythm. The pieces are playful yet powerful, evoking emotion through their tactile surfaces and dynamic compositions.
Lines + Texture on display from May 12 through June 30 at The Art Center, 1 Washington Street in Dover, NH. A public artist reception will be held Friday, June 7, from 6-9 PM.
