On Saturday, August 11th, Prescott Park Arts Festival will welcome Band of Horses to the Wilcox Main Stage as a part of the River House Restaurant Concert Series. Starting at 7pm, Band of Horses’ indie-rock passion will light up the stage making for an unforgettable evening of music.
Beginning with their first LP ‘Everything All The Time,’ Band of Horses have been a mainstay of indie rock for a decade with five studio albums in total, including 2010’s Grammy-nominated ‘Infinite Arms’ and ‘Mirage Rock,’ produced by legendary Glyn Johns.
Formed and led by singer and songwriter Ben Bridwell, this South Carolina-based band have given us many much-loved singles, including “No One’s Gonna Love You” and “The Funeral,” and have played globe-spanning headline tours as well as dates with greats like Pearl Jam and Neil Young.
Most recently, Band of Horses released their highly-anticipated fifth studio album, ‘Why Are You OK,” co-produced by the band and Jason Lytle and executive produced by Rick Rubin.
As with all Festival events, concerts are free and open to the public with a suggested $8-$10 donation.
