The fundraising event of the holiday season—SPINNING GENEROSITY—is quickly approaching LizFit for its 14th year—This December 8-14!!
SPINNING GENEROSITY is a week-long indoor cycling event where participants saddle up on indoor spin bikes to raise money for seven different Seacoast charities in 7 days—this year for Gather, Red’s Good Vibes, Step Up Parents, NH Pet Aid, Girls on the Run, Community Toolbox, and End 68 Hours Of Hunger.
“There is so much need right here in our community, and this year has proven that we need to show up for one another more than ever”, says Liz Forkel, Owner of LizFit and founder of SPINNING GENEROSITY. “We can’t wait to reach our 14-year milestone total of raising one million dollars this holiday season, and look forward to making a real difference to our neighbors in need”.
LizFit is a Portsmouth-based group fitness studio located at Spinnaker Point Recreation Center that offers group fitness classes for all ages (18+) and abilities. This year, SPINNING GENEROSITY will take place at LizFit from December 8-14. Everyone (18+) is welcome and encouraged to participate in SPINNING GENEROSITY—whether you’re new to spinning or are a cycling enthusiast, are a regular attendee of LizFit classes or wish to experience a class for the first time, or if you’d like to make a financial contribution of any size.

• Tuesday, December 9 at 7am: RIDE FOR COMMUNITY TOOLBOX (SENH Habitat)!
• Wednesday, December 10 at 6PM: RIDE FOR GIRLS ON THE RUN!
• Thursday, December 11 at 6PM: RIDE FOR END 68 HOURS OF HUNGER!
• Friday, December 12 at 9AM: RIDE FOR STEP UP PARENTS!
• Saturday, December 13 at 8AM: RIDE FOR RED’S GOOD VIBES!
• Sunday, December 14 at 9AM: RIDE FOR GATHER!
Over the past 13 years of hosting SPINNING GENEROSITY at Spinnaker Point Recreation Center in Portsmouth, the LizFit community has raised a grand total of over $905,552 to date, and have benefitted over a dozen local organizations.
