“When I meet an animal, rather than naming it, I perceive its spirit. Wisdom, innocence, playfulness, sensitivity, curiosity. I see the individual, not the flock or the herd. Surroundings fall away, the only words – ‘I see you.’ This exhibit of nature watercolors invites viewers to share such an intimate moment with nature. The intent is to portray the essence of the wild through simplicity.”
