Janelle Draper is a New York based comedian and writer. She performs all over the country, and was named winner of the 2021 Burbank Comedy Festival and runner-up of the 2020 Boston Comedy Festival. She also produces and hosts a regularly sold-out show called Twisted Sistas at The Stand Comedy Club in NYC with her sister Ash Draper, Midwife & Nurse Practitioner.
Janelle brings her charm and quick wit on-air as a game show host for the offbeat comedy channel, IFC. You can watch her standup on IFC.com “That’s Funny” and listen to it on Audible. She is a regular commentator on iHeart Radio and SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy. Janelle’s comedy can be described as off the cuff, high energy and honest. Janelle is originally from Boston but only has an accent when drinking Chardonnay. She started doing standup in LA when she was an NBC Page working on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and now 10 years later Janelle has opened for Jay at Flappers Comedy Club.
