The Art Center is proud to present Across America, a national exhibition celebrating the beauty, diversity, and spirit of America through the eyes of contemporary artists. Opening on July 13 and continuing through August 31, the exhibition brings together an exceptional collection of artwork from artists across the country, showcasing the many perspectives that define the American experience.
Featuring work in all mediums, Across America explores the nation’s remarkable landscapes, vibrant cities, diverse communities, architecture, traditions, history, and culture. From sweeping western vistas and iconic urban skylines to intimate portraits, abstract interpretations, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition offers visitors a compelling visual journey through the places, people, and stories that make America unique.
The diversity of the exhibition is one of its greatest strengths. Visitors will encounter works that celebrate the country’s natural beauty, examine its cultural identity, reflect on contemporary life, and explore themes of unity, resilience, and individuality. Each artwork contributes a distinctive voice, creating a rich and engaging experience that highlights the creativity of artists from across the United States.
This summer, The Art Center is especially honored to be featured in the AAA Explorer Guide Summer Edition (June through September), introducing new audiences to Dover’s thriving arts community while providing additional visibility for this exciting national exhibition and the talented artists represented.

The public is invited to visit throughout the exhibition and discover a dynamic collection of paintings, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and more.
An Artist Reception will be held on Saturday, August 8, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists, explore the exhibition, and celebrate the creativity and diversity represented in this national showcase.
