In A Path Less Traveled, Sam takes the viewer along an unpaved lane, through a lightly worn trail in the woods, and toward a quiet, rocky shoreline.
Sam is continually drawn to capturing these moments through landscapes, and this collection is a meditation on the peace and quiet found along one simple walk through the woods. Inspired by time spent in Southwest Harbor, Maine, the work is intentionally captured in a way that could belong to so many places throughout New England.
Ultimately, this collection invites the viewer to consider the simple places in their own life where they go to feel grounded—the familiar trails, quiet shorelines, and overlooked corners that offer a chance to slow down and be present.
The exhibit will run from November 6th until November 30th, 2026
