Cummingsโ€™ 2006 album โ€˜Working Manโ€™ peaked inside the Top Ten on the Billboard Blues Chart and established Cummings as a touring headliner in Europe. Cummingsโ€™ 2012 album โ€˜No Regretsโ€™ peaked at #5 on the Billboard Blues Chart.

Cummingsโ€™ soul-blues revue-styled โ€˜Believeโ€™ in 2020 also peaked at #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart as did his most recent album – ‘Ten’ (2022) โ€“ which has drawn rave reviews!

๐‚๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐›๐จ๐ซ๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ง, ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐. His father played guitar and fiddle in many local bands, including a 26-piece orchestra. Unable to wrap his hand around a guitar’s neck, Cummings took up the banjo at 12. At 15, he picked up the guitar and began learning to play from recordings by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter, and Muddy Waters. During the mid-’80s Cummings saw Vaughan and Double Trouble perform at Boston’s Orpheum Theater. He quit playing banjo that night and transitioned to the electric guitar.
