‘Relics’ opening at 3S Artspace

Among the highlights of Portsmouth’s monthly Art ‘Round Town gallery walk on Friday is an opening reception for “Relics” at 3S Artspace, featuring architectural sculptures by Frank Poor. NHAA Silent Auction and Kick-Off

The New Hampshire Art Association’s Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery was closed for sprucing in January, but it reopens this month with the annual silent auction and kick-off exhibition in Portsmouth. ‘Decompositions’ at Pontine Theatre

For one weekend only, Pontine Theatre is presenting a new solo performance by Tannis Kowalchuk, founding farmer and artistic director of the Farm Arts Collective. “Decompositions” is on stage at The Plains School in Portsmouth on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $26-$29. Jazz concerts at The Dance Hall

The Dance Hall is hosting two stellar jazz shows in Kittery this weekend. On Friday from 7:30-9 p.m., the Jason Anick & Matt DeChamplain Quartet will pay tribute to legendary violinist Stephane Grappelli and pianist Oscar Peterson ($20). On Saturday from 7:30-9 p.m., saxophonist Greg Abate will bring his quartet to town ($20). Learn more here.
‘Man of La Mancha’ at the Seacoast Rep

Next up at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth is Tony Award-winning musical “Man of La Mancha.” Based on Miguel de Cervantes’ 17th century epic novel “Don Quixote,” about a man’s refusal to give up his impossible dream, the show is on stage Feb. 3 through March 5. Corey Manning at McCue’s Comedy Club

Corey Manning’s resume includes headlining The Apollo, streaming on Amazon Prime, and appearing on NBC’s “Family Feud” and Jamie Foxx’s “Laffapalooza.” He’ll perform at McCue’s Comedy Club in Portsmouth with support from Casey McNeal, Liam Hales, and Cher Lynn on Friday from 8-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. WSCA Portsmouth Community Radio has been ramping up its live music schedule on the Button Factory Stage. Portland post-punk band Lahnah headlines with Rong and Willzyx on Friday from 8-11 p.m. ($10). A Band of Killers at The Stone Church

Johnny Trama and his all-star rock group A Band of Killers are heading to The Stone Church in Newmarket for a two-night run, with a different lineup each night. Local “stars” are paired with professional skaters from Ice Dance International during the annual Seacoast Skating with the Stars at Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Duck Pond in Portsmouth.
