The Big Sun is a Barrington, New Hampshire trio made up of brothers Griffin and Roddy MacMillan alongside drummer Jonah Therrien, crafting a raw, dynamic blend of progressive rock, funk-metal, and alternative heaviness. Since forming in 2023, the band has quickly built a reputation around explosive live sets, intricate musicianship, and a powerful wall of sound that balances technical precision with full-throttle energy.
Üga Büga is a Charlottesville, Virginia heavy trio blending sludge metal, stoner rock, prog, and classic heavy metal into what fans have affectionately dubbed “hog rock.” Formed in 2021, the band has built a cult following through relentless touring, massive riff-driven live shows, and a wild, imaginative world of post-apocalyptic hog men, fantasy lore, and comic-book chaos inspired by bands like Mastodon, High on Fire, and Soundgarden. Their debut album, Year of the Hog, landed on the Doom Charts in 2024, establishing them as one of the East Coast underground’s most distinctive and gloriously heavy new bands.
Funeral Thirst is an Exeter, New Hampshire death metal band delivering a crushing blend of melodic death metal and old-school brutality. Known for heavyweight riffs, grim atmosphere, and flashes of Scandinavian-inspired melody, the band has quickly carved out a name in the regional underground through punishing live shows and releases like Galvanized in Blood and 2025’s Demo 2025.
Archdruid is a New Hampshire epic doom metal band channeling the mystical spirit of ‘70s hard rock through towering riffs, medieval folklore, and thunderous, female-fronted heaviness. Blending classic doom influences like Pentagram and Pagan Altar with fantasy-soaked storytelling and a raw underground energy, the band has built a cult following through releases like Tales From The Mabinogion and their 2025 self-titled debut LP.
