Tea Eater is a Brooklyn-based art-punk band fronted by Tarra Thiessen (of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin), known for their fuzzy, high-energy songs that mix garage punk chaos with campy, surreal lyrics and infectious riffs. Featuring members of several NYC underground acts, the group has built a reputation for wild live shows, toured across the U.S., U.K., and Europe, and shared stages with bands like Thee Oh Sees, Death Valley Girls, and Sloppy Jane.
Tysk Tysk Task is a Lowell, Massachusetts–based indie-grunge band known for their raw, emotionally charged guitar rock and scrappy DIY spirit. Fronted by singer-guitarist Samantha Hartsel, the group blends the grit of early-’90s alternative with melodic indie songwriting, delivering a “woodland grunge” sound shaped by loud-quiet dynamics, cathartic vocals, and driving riffs across releases like You’re Sorry More (2022).
Grub Lord is a Portsmouth, New Hampshire punk band known for chaotic, tongue-in-cheek songs that blend riot-grrrl attitude, garage-punk energy, and gleefully absurd humor. Built around fast riffs, shout-along hooks, and a mischievous DIY spirit, the band has become a rowdy favorite around the Seacoast underground with releases and live shows that lean just as hard into comedy and character as they do into classic punk noise.
