The Sail Portsmouth Maritime Festival is officially returning in 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the community back to the waterfront for this signature summer event.
This July, Portsmouth will host the Oosterschelde, a stunning Dutch three-masted topsail schooner, as the Attraction Vessel for the Sail Portsmouth Maritime Festival. Built of wood just after World War I to carry freight throughout Europe and North Africa, the Oosterschelde now sails the world’s oceans with passengers aboard—bringing a rare blend of living maritime history and modern adventure to Portsmouth Harbor.
From the awe-inspiring Parade of Sail to dockside ship tours, the 2026 festival promises unforgettable moments for all ages.
