Public Art In Portsmouth

Please join the Portsmouth Historical Society for the first of our “Winds of Change” exhibition lectures on the life and work of Cabot Lyford. This two-part lecture will include Portsmouth Historical Society curator Gerry Ward discussing the city of Portsmouth’s collection of public art, including multiple Lyford pieces, followed by a discussion with Chris Dwyer and Ernie Greenslade, co-chairs of the city’s Public Art Review Committee. Come learn more about the history of our city’s impressive array of public art, and all the hard work that goes into preserving and expanding that collection.
