John Zevos and Friends are a group of friends who have been playing together for decades in various combinations together and with others. One of their common influences is the Grateful Dead and on the Button Factory Stage they will be performing acoustic version of their music with an emphasis on deep cuts. Their experience playing and love for this music is evident and audiences are positively responding.
Divergent Strings/Restoration perform an eclectic mix of instrumental and vocal music from many genres and cultures. They use a wide variety of string instruments – guitar, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, octave mandolin, banjo, and bass depending on the piece being performed. Classical, bluegrass, gypsy jazz, bossa nova, blues, classic rock, you never know what you’re going to hear at a Divergent Strings/Restoration show, but you know you’ll never forget it!
