Jeffrey Lewis is a New York singer-songwriter, comic book artist, and longtime fixture of the city’s anti-folk scene, known for pairing sharp, funny, hyper-literate storytelling with a scrappy mix of folk, garage rock, punk, and lo-fi indie. A Lower East Side native, Lewis was signed by Rough Trade in the early 2000s and has since built a prolific catalog and international following; his latest full-length, 2025’s The EVEN MORE Freewheelin’ Jeffrey Lewis, was produced by Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Sleater-Kinney) and continues the singular mix of wit, observation, politics, and everyday life that has defined his work for nearly three decades.
