Three Southern New Hampshire acts take the stage at The Button Factory Stage on Thursday, April 17, featuring Fun City Fan Club, Closed Course, and Sam Drouin. From fuzzy, hook-filled grunge to emotionally charged riffs and synth-driven punk energy, the night highlights a range of sounds coming out of the local scene.
Opening the show is Fun City Fan Club, bringing their self-described bubble grunge sound. Their music blends fuzzy guitar tones with catchy melodies and playful energy, striking a balance between gritty distortion and pop sensibility.
Next up is Closed Course, an emo-grunge band from Southern New Hampshire. Their sound leans into the heavier and more emotional side of the genre, combining driving guitars with introspective songwriting and a raw live presence.
Closing the night is Sam Drouin, a live looping dance-synth-punk artist who builds songs in real time on stage. Layering beats, synths, and vocals through looping techniques, Drouin creates an energetic solo performance that feels more like a full band experience.
Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door, with advance tickets available at PortsmouthNHtickets.com.
