Watercolor Workshop with Dustan Knight

Join Dustan Knight for a fun playful watercolor workshop that invites you to create a bowl of beautiful beach stones poised on a floral patterned cloth. This workshop can be imaginative or more representational, and requires very little drawing. We will use a wide range of watercolor patterning techniques to make your beach stones magical. This is a great class to practice negative painting – building layers of values and colors and combining textures.
Required Materials:
- 140lb Arches Watercolor Paper – At least 15 x 11,” Cold press or hot press.
- Support Board and Masking Tape.
- Assorted Watercolor Paints.
- Assorted Watercolor Brushes – Including smaller ones.
- Sea Sponge.
- Salt.
- Scissors.
- Kleenex.
- Miskit.
- Saran Wrap.
- 2 Plastic Water Containers.
- Small Spray Bottle.
