This collection of seasoned Seacoast vets delivers a high voltage barrage of hard rock informed by love of punk and new wave. The band may be new but these heavyweights have decades of stage quaking on their resumes. Brain-child of ex-Scissorfight guitarist Jay Fortin, the Diamond Jets feature his latest sonic creations — still hard, heavy and loud but not limited to any particular genre. He’s rejoined by fellow Dewlap Boys drummer Rodger Shosa, (Bruisers, Bobhouse, Queers, 5 Balls of Power) and singer Butch Heilshorn (Moon King, Bobhouse, Jim Jones and the Guyanas). On bass is Cam Gunn (Genderfits, Hümpmuscle, ShuttleCock) who brings his powerful crunchy low-end into the mix. If you like your rock hard, heavy, and high energy, the Diamond Jets have you covered!
Muddy Ruckus is a Portland, Maine rock duo that transforms a single guitar, suitcase kick drum, and soaring vocal harmonies into a massive, high-voltage sound. Blending punk blues, Americana grit, psychedelic rock, and garage energy, Ryan Flaherty and Erika Stahl have earned a devoted following through relentless touring, explosive live performances, and acclaimed releases like Vacationland. Their raw musicianship and darkly poetic songwriting have drawn comparisons to artists ranging from The White Stripes to The Velvet Underground, while carving out a sound that’s unmistakably their own.
Alma June & The Persian Cats is a Portland, Maine six-piece whose genre-defying sound blends indie folk, jazz, chamber pop, and art rock into something uniquely their own. Fronted by Alma June’s jazz-influenced vocals and classical fingerstyle guitar, the band layers viola, upright bass, trombone, and free-flowing rhythms to create lush, cinematic arrangements that are both adventurous and deeply melodic. Formed in 2024 by a group of music students united by a love of bending musical boundaries, they’ve quickly become one of Portland’s most compelling emerging acts with the release of their self-titled debut album.
