Board holds hearing on short-term rentals

News

The Portsmouth Planning Board will hold a public hearing on how to regulate short-term rentals through services like Airbnb at its meeting on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at city hall. Last year, city officials began sending cease-and-desist notices to homeowners who were renting out rooms through Airbnb. Since then, the city has been working on creating ordinances that will regulate the rentals.  — Larry Clow
