Presented by Piscataqua Seed Project and Kittery Land Trust. Learn seed saving skills while helping us to fill the seed bank for 2027!
It’s the end of the growing season and time to save seeds for next year. Piscataqua Seed Project is offering a workshop at the Kittery Land Trust’s Giving Garden on Sunday October 4. The garden is located at Nooney Farm, 22 Stevenson Road in Kittery.
Several different techniques will be demonstrated and attendees are encouraged to bring seeds from their own garden to donate to our seed supply for 2027. The workshop will be held outside at the garden. In the event of rain, we will set up inside one of the empty greenhouses.
Those planning to attend should:
– Wear appropriate shoes and clothing to be outside and get a bit messy
– Bring any seed or overgrown vegetables from your own garden to be processed at the workshop.
This event is free but donations for supporting our seed bank will be gladly accepted!
