Agenbite Misery are a New Hampshire-based experimental metal trio formed in 2022 (Sam Graff, Cam Netland, Adam Richards) who channel extreme music into a deeply literary concept—translating James Joyce’s Ulysses into brutal, genre-blurring songs that pull directly from the text. Their sound folds black metal, sludge/death weight, noise/ambient texture, and post-punk edge, with their debut album Remorse of Conscience slated for release on February 6, 2026.
Chainlacing is a Boston/New Hampshire duo—Rick Martel and Lauren Crosser—formed out of sessions in Rick’s New Hampshire home studio (with Lauren traveling up from Boston to track guitar ideas). They make “dungeon dream pop” / lo-fi experimental gloom: hazy, reverb-soaked guitar and synth textures that drift through melodic drone and dark ambience—like doom/shoegaze/goth/industrial heard through an 8-track haze.
A Monolithic Dome is a Providence, Rhode Island-based experimental loud punk project featuring Alice, Bill, and Connor. Their music leans into extremes—fast/slow, noisy, and abrasive—captured on releases like the 2024 Demo (2025) and the split with Doom Beach (both released in April 2025), and they’ve played live bills in Providence (including at Alchemy in July 2024).
