This is one of those nights you’ll talk about all summer.
Tiger Saw takes the stage to celebrate 25 years of boundary-pushing indie rock. The New England-based band has developed a distinctive slowcore and Americana sound over nine albums, earning a devoted following for their vocal harmonies and experimental spirit. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering them for the first time, this performance promises a rich retrospective of their career.
Joining them is Jon Nolan. Best known as the frontman of New England alt-country favorites Say ZuZu, Nolan brings a fresh sensibility to his solo work, blending dreamier tones and pop-infused Americana. Backed by Geoff Taylor and Rick Habib, who helped shape this new material in a hot barn in the summer of 2022, the band now includes pedal steel guitarist Roland Nicol and indie folk artist Patrick Fitzgibbons (of Sneaky Miles), who adds guitar and harmonies. Their upcoming album, Slow Cooker, drops in July on Athens-based Strolling Bones Records. Recent Say ZuZu releases No Time to Lose and the reissue of Every Mile are also out now on the same label.
Two regionally rooted, genre-blending acts. One night of thoughtful, harmony-rich music.
Don’t miss it. Advance tickets are $10 online or $15 at the door.
