Active Retirement Association: ‘What in the World is a Waterkeeper?’

The Active Retirement Association (ARA) invites you to attend a FREE meeting and presentation to answer the question, “What in the World is a Waterkeeper?” Featured Speaker is Melissa Paly, Conservation Law Foundation’s Great Bay-Piscataqua Waterkeeper, who will discuss her work as an advocate to inform and inspire people to protect and restore the health of the rivers, bays, and shoreline that make the Seacoast region such a spectacular place to live, work, and play. This event will take place on Monday, October 21, 2024, 2:00-3:30 PM, at the Durham Evangelical Church (lower level), 114 Dover Road (Route 108), Durham, NH. This FREE meeting is open to the public; registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served – bring a friend or two! Non-perishable foods, personal hygiene items, and cash donations for area food pantries will be gratefully accepted. You will also learn about ARA’s expansive programs and activities for Seacoast residents ages 50 and up, whether retired or not. Come join us and expand your world!
