Todd Hearon is a New Hampshire-based singer-songwriter (living in Exeter, born in Texas, raised in North Carolina) in the Americana/alt-country/folk vein. His first album, Border Radio (2021), was featured in American Songwriter and Boston’s SKOPE magazine and listed as “Best Seacoast Music” of 2021 in Seacoast Online. Of the songs, Seacoast Online wrote, “Todd Hearon is proof that good folkin’ country singers still walk among us. Somewhere from the great beyond, Townes Van Zandt has happened on Todd’s tunes . . . and felt his cheeks go flush with envy.” SKOPE echoed, “Poetry and song, ever old friends, meet again and merge in every line of Border Radio.”
Armed with a 1950 Gibson J-50 named Myrtle, and a host of new songs that hearken back to his roots in southern folkways and deep-flowing Americana streams, he’s back, ready to share his music with the world. The third album in the trilogy, Impossible Man, produced by Don Dixon, arrived in summer of 2024.
