Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse Tours
After three seasons of being closed to the public, Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse is once again welcoming visitors. Guided tours of the historic structure are offered on weekends and select holidays through Oct. 12 ($25 per person). You can also book a private tour for groups of up to 10 people on certain dates ($350 per group).
Much music and art at The Word Barn
The Mallett Brothers Band’s show at The Word Barn Meadow on Friday night is sold out, but you can still snag tickets to see string duo HAAS on the outdoor stage in Exeter on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. ($30), as well as folk and roots trio The Faux Paws on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. ($25). Also, while The Word Barn’s morning Stained Glass Flower Workshop on Sunday is sold out, there’s a spot or two left for the 3D Stained Glass Flower Workshop that afternoon from 1:30-4:30 p.m. ($150). A Splash of Improv at The Players Ring
The Stranger Than Fiction crew is returning to The Players Ring in Portsmouth for the next edition of A Splash of Improv on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. As always, the series features an unpredictable, high-energy mix of games, stories, characters, and comedic chaos. A pair of heavy rock shows at WSCA Radio
The Dydo Alliance presents an evening with Boston-area rock power trio Angry Hill (pictured) at WSCA Radio in Portsmouth on Friday at 8 p.m. ($15-$20). The following night, hard rockers Turf ‘N’ Turf, Lizzy, and Tin Man’s Sheet Metal Caulk take the Button Factory Stage at 7:30 p.m. ($10-$15). Learn more here.

If you want to start your weekend a little early, head to The Press Room in Portsmouth on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for an all-ages, multi-act show featuring XO, Little Oso, Husband, and Fun City Fan Club ($12-$15). Head back on Friday at 8 p.m. to see post-punk band The Sheila Divine with guests Dummy Ache and Tysk Tysk Task ($18-$20). The Rockingham Ballroom in Newmarket hosts its monthly line-dancing event with 603 Line Dance on Friday night, with beginner-friendly lessons at 8 p.m. followed by an upbeat DJ dance party ($15). An all-ages Karaoke Night with DJ Dave follows on Saturday from 8-10:30 p.m. ($10). Learn more here.

Following Allen Stone’s concert with Adrienne Mack-Davis on Thursday at 7 p.m., the Prescott Park Arts Festival will host a screening of the classic comedy Clueless on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Indie artist Caiola and guest GoldenOak perform on Saturday at 7 p.m. To Kill a Mockingbird will be on the big screen on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. There’s a suggested donation of $20 for concerts and $8 for movies; table and blanket reservations are available. Revel in the Meadow 2026 in Dover
Top-billed performers at the annual Revel in the Meadow music festival include A Band of Brothers: An Allman Brothers Tribute, Seacoast Last Waltz Band, Ramble on Rose Band, Terrafunk, and Lightheaded Collective. Popular Boston-area instrumental dub-reggae band Dub Apocalypse will headline Reggae Fest 2026 at Newburyport Brewing Co. on Saturday from 1-9 p.m. Other performers include Caribbean Jermaine and BossTown Heavy. Ballet and a YART Sale at 3S Artspace
Portland Ballet offers a powerful, multi-part performance at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth on Saturday from 7-9:30 p.m. ($30-$45). Artist booths will fill the venue on Sunday from 12-4 p.m., offering local and regional artwork at discounted prices during the annual YART Sale.
