A roundup of Seacoast events and happenings coming up over the next week

Some actual in-person events are sneaking back into our weekly roundups, mixed with ongoing virtual events. Here are some upcoming highlights.

3S Artspace Online

It’s a busy week in 3S Artspace’s virtual world. On Thursday, June 11, at 8 p.m., 3S cohosts a livestream show with Whitney. From Friday to Sunday, June 12-14, they present the YART Sale Online Auction, featuring work by about two-dozen local artists. On Monday, June 15, at 8 p.m., they cohost Waxahatchee‘s livestream performance of the album “Cerulean Salt” (the second of five weekly livestream shows by Waxahatchee).

The Stone Church in Newmarket continues to help get Seacoast bands back on stage with another live show. Three members the Not Fade Away Band, a local Grateful Dead tribute act, will perform outside in the beer garden on Saturday, June 13, from 5-8 p.m. In order to keep everyone in the audience at a safe distance from each other, tickets will be sold by tables of four or six seats. The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On

The Seacoast Repertory Theatre continues to present musical theater online. Next up in the Marvelous Wonderettes series is “Dream On,” streaming live from June 13-21. This weekend’s show times are Saturday, June 13, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Written and created by Roger Bean, the show features hits of the 1960s and ’70s performed by a quartet of local cast members. Kittery Community Market

Summer farmers markets are now underway, including the weekly Kittery Community Market. The event, held every Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parking lot at Kittery’s Post Office Square, supports local agriculture, small businesses, and artisans. Organizers are adhering to strict protocols to keep everyone safe and are now offering a curbside pickup option. For more information, click here.

Nikki Lane (Livestream)

Nashville country singer Nikki Lane will broadcast a solo performance from her home on Sunday, June 14, at 8 p.m., and The Music Hall in Portsmouth is selling tickets to the livestream event. After releasing her latest album, “Highway Queen,” Lane won a 2017 Ameripolitan Music Award in the category of “Outlaw Country Female.” She’s been called the First Lady of Outlaw Country.
