It’s going to be a busy weekend of Pride and partying on the Seacoast. Here are some highlights.

Freaky Friday at Prescott Park

The Prescott Park Arts Festival’s 2025 summer musical opens this weekend! Based on the hit comedy film, Disney’s Freaky Friday runs June 20-Aug. 10; show times are most Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7 p.m. There’s an $8 suggested donation; table and blanket reservations are available. Seph and the Nomads at Millspace

Newfields-based quintet Seph and the Nomads will demonstrate its high-energy grooves — influenced by rock, metal, rap, funk, blues, and soul — during a special show at the Millspace Center for Art, History & Culture in Newmarket on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Learn more here.

A Splash of Improv at the Ring

Two shows at The Word Barn Meadow

The weather should be perfect for some outdoor music at The Word Barn Meadow in Exeter this weekend. Join in the challenge to fill every seat at The Music Hall in Portsmouth with bags of food on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations of food and monetary gifts collected at the annual Fill the Hall Food Drive will support Gather’s Meals 4 Kids program, which provides 10 meals a week for over 700 children each summer. The 11th annual Portsmouth Pride celebration starts at noon with a march to Strawbery Banke Museum, where there will be more than 100 vendors, mainstage performances, speakers, a KidZone, a 21-plus Throwback beer tent, and more until 5 p.m. Learn more here.
