Local crooner Leo Ganley joins The Rockingham Groove for a Dance Party at The Stone Church in Newmarket on Friday from 6-9 p.m. ($25). Local jam band Superfrog plays an impromptu gig with opener Safarri on Saturday at 9 p.m. ($10). Americana band The Fretbenders play an afternoon show on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. ($15). Learn more here.

Rock and raptors in The Word Barn Meadow

Best known as cofounder of The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, Billy Keane will bring his own band, The Waking Dream, to The Word Barn Meadow in Exeter on Friday from 7-9 p.m. ($20). On Saturday morning, educators from Tailwinds will introduce guests to some live raptor species during an Owl Brunch from 10:30-11:30 a.m. ($25). Concerts at The Dance Hall

It’ll be a lively weekend at The Dance Hall in Kittery. Singer Chris Humphrey showcases vocal renditions of compositions by a true trumpet legend during The Voice of Clark Terry on Friday from 8-9:30 p.m. ($17-$22). Portland, Ore.-based bluegrass band Fog Holler follows on Saturday from 8-9:30 p.m. ($17-$22). 2023 TEAM Independence Jam

Seven acts will perform under the singer-songwriter tent at the Independence Jam in Exeter on Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Presented by TEAM (Town Exeter Arts Music), the event will also feature art vendors, food trucks, cultural exhibits, and kids’ activities in Swasey Parkway. Pop Country Music Festival at Newburyport Brewing

The lineup at Newburyport Brewing Co.’s 2023 Pop Country Music Fest includes Lexi James, Elisa Smith, Maddi Ryan, and AK Cody. Presented with Evolvement Music, there will also be food trucks, lawn games, and cold beer during the outdoor festival on Saturday from 12-10 p.m. Tickets are only $10 for the whole day. As part of its “Crossing the Threshold” art theme, Green Acre: A Baha’i Center of Learning is partnering with Theater for the People to present BOLT on Saturday from 7:30-9 p.m. in Eliot. Two shows on the Button Factory Stage

WSCA Portsmouth Community Radio has announced a couple of exciting last-minute shows on the Button Factory Stage this weekend. Vermont’s Greg Freeman will play a chill set of music with local guest opener Hello Shark on Saturday from 8-11 p.m. ($10). Portland-based punk trio Milk St. headlines a show with support from acoustic pop-rock act Megan From Work on Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ($10). Learn more here.

Krewe de Groove at Crows’ Feat Farm

Enjoy a farm-fresh meal and groove to some live music at Crows’ Feat Farm in Kensington on Sunday. The Crows’ Feat Community Picnic, served buffet-style, takes place from 1-2:30 p.m. ($30).
