The arts are in full bloom on the Seacoast this weekend. Here are some highlights.

“Moon-Spinners” at the Rochester Opera House

Let Sole City Dance take you on an adventure set on a Greek island with its newest production, “The Moon-Spinners Mystery.” The ballet, about a young detective named Nikki who travels to Greece, is on stage at the Rochester Opera House on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $17. Two concerts at The Word Barn

Enjoy the rich sibling harmonies of folk group GoldenOak at The Word Barn in Exeter on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Two nights later, Boston-based progressive bluegrass ensemble Twisted Pine comes to town with its latest album, “Love Your Mind,” on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Tickets to each show are $25. Dionysia at The Players’ Ring

In ancient Athens, Greeks honored the god Dionysus with a large annual festival. The Players’ Ring in Portsmouth is reviving the tradition with its second edition of Dionysia: A Festival of Short Plays. New works will be staged on Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15. Learn more here.

Comedy and theater at Millspace

Artists, comedians, and other performers will share awkward tales of youth during a comedy storytelling event called Sign My Yearbook at Newmarket Millspace on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ($18). On Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Millspace offers a Youth Theatre Workshop for kids ages 9-14, culminating in a short improv showcase ($55). Learn more here.

Live music at The Stone Church

The Stone Church has some killer concerts lined up in Newmarket. A rock and alt-country show with Horsefly Gulch, Other Brother Darryl, Kier Byrnes and the Kettle Burners, and Cryin’ Caleb Aaron takes place Friday at 7:30 p.m. ($10-$15). Local legend Dave Gerard performs upstairs on Saturday at 4 p.m. ($10-$15). The Seacoast Last Waltz Band plays a benefit for the Continuum Arts Collective on Saturday at 8 p.m. ($25-$30). Rock and drag at WSCA Radio

Alternative band Waves Crashing travels all the way from Seattle for a show with area acts Chainlacing and XO at WSCA Radio in Portsmouth on Friday at 8 p.m. The next night, Not Yer Mama’s Drag Show presents Robots vs. Aliens on the Button Factory Stage on Saturday from 8-10 p.m. Tickets to each event are $10-$15. Steve Miller tribute at The Rockingham Ballroom

Time keeps on slipping toward the Space Cowboys’ gig at The Rockingham Ballroom in Newmarket. The tribute band will play rock legend Steve Miller’s biggest hits on Saturday from 8-11 p.m. Tickets are $20-$25, which includes a complimentary tequila sunrise and an after-party until midnight — ’70s attire encouraged! Herbal foraging at Tuckaway Farm

Step into nature’s apothecary during the Wild and Weedy Wellness series at Tuckaway Farm in Lee. Beginning this Sunday from 1-5 p.m., herbalist and ecologist Alison Magill will lead a monthly foraging walk to identify and harvest herbs, followed by a workshop to prepare what you’ve gathered. Tickets to the walk only are $30 per person or $50 per family; tickets to the walk and workshop are $65 per person or $110 per family. Learn more here.

Old Crow Medicine Show at The Music Hall

Since they started busking on street corners in 1998, Old Crow Medicine Show has grown into one of the most celebrated folk acts in country. With a new single out this year, the Nashville-based string band will bring its Circle The Wagons Tour to The Music Hall in Portsmouth on Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $65-$125. Learn more here.
