Hayseed, Smuttynose Brewing Company’s new farm-style restaurant, will open at 105 Towle Farm Road in Hampton in early February. The restaurant is located in a renovated Victorian-era farmhouse on Towle Farm, where the brewery moved in 2014.

The new restaurant will seat 95 guests and include an additional 35 seats in a seasonal beer garden. Two-dozen taps will pour Smuttynose beers and selected guest beers; the restaurant will also offer cask-conditioned beers, vintage bottles from the brewery’s Big Beer series, and growlers, according to a press release from the company.

Executive chef Kevin Hahn, the former co-owner and chef at Pepperland Café in South Berwick, Maine, will run the kitchen. The menu will use locally sourced ingredients, as well as items from gardens that will be planted on site, according to the release. — Larry Clow
