Silver Street switches to one-way April 8

News

On Wednesday, April 8, Silver Street in Dover will become a one-way street as work continues on a reconstruction project. The new traffic pattern will make the street a one-way, inbound-only street from the intersection of Arch Street and Towle Avenue to Central Avenue. The new pattern will be in effect through at least September. The intersection of Washington and Arch streets will become a three-way stop to help deal with traffic detours.

The reconstruction project includes water main replacements, drainage improvements, street and sidewalk reconstruction, landscaping, and wayfinding changes. Work on the project began last fall.  — Larry Clow
