If you’ve driven through the area known as Foyes Corner in Rye over the last year or so, you’ve surely noticed the immense building going up at the corner of Route 1A and Sagamore Road. That construction is nearly complete, and The Atlantic Grill will open to the public this month.
The restaurant is owned by Rye residents Michael and Peter Labrie, also proprietors of The River House Restaurant in Portsmouth. Like The River House, The Atlantic Grill will specialize in classic seafood, complemented by contemporary dishes. The building includes a dining room, a lounge, a flexible function space and outdoor seating; takeout is also available.
The owners have been holding soft-opening events since Thanksgiving, and the restaurant is expected to open to the public later this month. For updates, visit theatlanticgrill.com.
