Cole Rogers, a Master Printer with Highpoint Center for Printmaking, will discuss the importance of contemporary prints and the Museum of Art’s collection on Wednesday, March 4. The free lecture starts at 6 p.m. in the Paul Creative Arts Center, Room A218, at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Rogers co-founded Highpoint in Minneapolis, Minn., in 2001. Until then, there was limited access to printmaking in the Upper Midwest. The nonprofit is dedicated to advancing the art of printmaking by providing educational programs, collaborative publishing opportunities, and a gallery.

For the past decade, Rogers has also helped print Highpoint Editions. He will speak about his role in the printmaking process.
