The Seacoast’s municipal election season is about to begin.
The filing period for city council, school board, and other races opened in Portsmouth on Aug. 24 and will close on Sept. 14. Requirements and filing fee information are available by contacting the city clerk’s office at 603-610-7245.
Rochester’s filing period lasts from Sept. 4 to Sept. 21, and interested candidates can contact the city clerk’s office at 603-332-2130.
Potential candidates can register in Somersworth from Sept. 9 to 24; requirements and filing fee information are available through the city clerk’s office at 603-692-9511.
Candidates in Dover can register with the city clerk from Sept. 8 to 18. Filing fee information is available by calling 603-516-6018.
