Voices of the Titanic, an original play written and directed by Michael Doyle with additional dialogue by Dr. James Murphy, brings to life the passengers and crew of the legendary, fateful voyage. We see the magnificent vessel through the eyes of both first-class and third-class passengers as they speaking to us in their own words about the disaster. When Frederick Fleet spots the iceberg, all the officers are called upon to carry out the most dreaded command Capt. Smith ever had to issue: “Get the lifeboats ready!”
The play features live violin performance by Vivien Donahue, and at matinee performances, Titanic historian Kate Gilbert will conduct a Q&A Talkback and display some of her Titanic memorabilia.
Voices of the Titanic is performed by Karen Rogier, Christian Sirois, Dan Bergeron, Richard Salvati, Jeremy Ford, James Hoffmann, Jean Moses, Nolan Greig, Hannah Rogier, Erica Helm, Genevieve Allen, Lexii Nicholas, and Vivien Donahue on violin.
