Together, Farkas, 30, and Arlen, 33, will explore what led her to “rock bottom-ville,” plus the tips and tricks she used to pull herself out of a years-long funk. Throughout the conversation, the two will also take questions from the audience, and will give an ear to anyone who wants to be heard.

She has covered Special Olympics for ESPN since 2015. Victoria has achieved far more than ever imagined, especially after not being expected to live to 15 years old and facing obstacle after obstacle and achieving the impossible. Her achievements and story of survival have been recognized internationally and nationally, including by the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Her first book Locked In was released in 2018, while her new book The View is Worth It was released this past May.
