Last shows of the year at Prescott Park
The Prescott Park Arts Festival will wrap up its 2025 season with concerts on three consecutive nights. Soulful Boston rock band Neighbor headlines with guest One Time Weekend on Thursday at 7 p.m. Local folk legend Tom Rush performs with accompanist Monica Rizzio and guest Brendan Cleary on Friday at 7 p.m. Iconic folk-rock band Dawes closes things out on Saturday at 7 p.m. There’s a $15 suggested donation. Two concerts at The Word Barn Meadow
Minneapolis-based indie-folk and Americana group The Last Revel kicks off the weekend at The Word Barn Meadow in Exeter on Friday from 7-9 p.m. ($25). Two nights later, folk-rock singer-songwriter Lizzie No — chosen by Rolling Stone as one of the “Future 25” artists of the year — performs from 7-9 p.m. ($25). Learn more here.
Concerts at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club
Two-time Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist and vocalist Mindi Abair (pictured) will perform at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club in Portsmouth on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ($112). On Sunday, the Lenny Bradford Trio plays a free show in The Gallery at 7 p.m., while jazz keyboardist and composer Brian Simpson plays upstairs at 7:30 p.m. ($20-$63).
Much music on the Button Factory Stage
Cosmic folk-pop band the Star Family Singers headlines a triple-bill show at WSCA Radio in Portsmouth with guests Haven’s Den and Alma June and the Persian Cats on Friday at 8 p.m. Then, Neil Santos (pictured) presents a solo Beatles Tribute Night on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets to each show are $10-$15. The Macrotones at Vernon Family Farm
Enjoy great music and fresh food at Vernon Family Farm in Newfields on Saturday evening. Local band The Macrotones will play a bold blend of imperial funk, classic soul, and gritty grooves from 5-7:30 p.m., while DeadProof Pizza Co. serves up slices and Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour pours drinks. Triple-bill at The Stone Church
Three up-and-coming rock bands that have been making waves on the Seacoast will join forces for an epic concert at The Stone Church in Newmarket this weekend. Bob Schneider at 3S Artspace
With dozens of Austin Music Awards under his belt, singer-songwriter Bob Schneider is the most decorated artist in the city’s storied music history. Peter Eldridge (twice) at The Press Room
The Seacoast Jazz Society is presenting a special evening of jazz at The Press Room in Portsmouth on Sunday. Vocalist Peter Eldridge, founder of jazz vocal group New York Voices, will lead an all-star band also featuring special guest singer Cassandre McKinley for two shows at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20-$27. Lettuce live at The Music Hall
Although their next album “Cook” isn’t due out until December, legendary funk band Lettuce is starting to spread the music ahead of time. The Boston-born, genre-busting, six-member musical collective will bring its Cook World Tour to The Music Hall in Portsmouth for a concert on Sunday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $41-$71. Learn more here.
