Exeter Country Club is a member-owned 9-hole course in one of New England’s most picturesque towns. The club, founded in 1889, is USGA-listed as one of the 100 oldest in the nation.
Set into pine and hardwood forest at the edge of the impressive Great Bay estuarine system, Exeter’s historic course offers lush irrigated fairways, velvety greens and a fresh salt breeze throughout the season.
Fairways are wide and rolling. Greens are smallish, averaging 3500 square feet, and undulate enough to test putting skills. The course design places a premium on shot accuracy. Water comes into play on three holes.
