SUMMARY:Youth Theatre Workshop at Newmarket Millspace
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for some improv\, games\, and the chance to create something new\, with a spooky twist! Millspace is offering a one day youth theatre workshop\, on Saturday October 10th\, for kids aged 9 to 14. \nAttendees will learn performance and improv techniques\, in a fun\, low-pressure environment\, ending the day with an improv showcase. (Showcase starts at 2:30!) To get you in the Halloween spirit\, all scenes in our showcase will be loosely based around the idea of fright. This could range from a toddler who’s afraid of the dentist\, to a vampire hosting a jazzercise class! \nIf a workshop doesn’t fit in your budget\, financial assistance is available. At Millspace\, we believe that art education is an essential part of personal development\, and that money shouldn’t be a barrier to accessing it.
