DESCRIPTION:Tuesdays on the Terrace — High Strung Strummers\nTuesday\, August 5\, 2025\, 5:30-7 PM \nAbout High Strung Strummers:\nThe High Strung Strummers is a high-energy duo that specializes in the performance of old-time southern and midwestern fiddle music as well as the performance of Anglo-American ballads. Cathy Mason is an award-winning fiddle player and popular fiddle instructor\, and Sarah Jane Nelson is a multiple-instrumentalist and vocalist who loves discovering old songs and giving them new life. A practicing folklorist\, Nelson is the author of Ballad Hunting with Max Hunter: Stories of an Ozark Folksong Collector. Mason and Nelson have been particularly busy developing their “twin” fiddle repertoire this season! \nAbout Tuesdays on the Terrace:\nEnjoy acoustic music each Tuesday evening as various local musicians perform on the open-air stage on the Kennebunk Savings Terrace. Remember to bring lawn chairs or blankets\, as the Museum has limited outdoor patio furniture and picnic tables. \nTickets:\nAlthough tickets are available at the door\, registering in advance allows Strawbery Banke to notify you if a concert needs to be canceled due to inclement weather. \n• Members: Free\n• Nonmembers: $8.00\n• Children (under 3): Free
