SUMMARY:The Orrs\, Kill-Kennie\, & Watson Park at The Press Room
DESCRIPTION:Send The Orrs off on tour w/ this mid-week indie rock ripper! \n\n\n\n\nThe Orrs\, Kill-Kennie\, & Watson Park \nWed 11/4\n7pm doors/8pm show\nAll Ages | $15 \nThe Orrs are a New England indie-rock band with roots in New Hampshire’s Seacoast scene\, built around the songwriting partnership of Mike Thurston and Stefan Mraz. Their sound combines scrappy garage rock\, jangly guitars\, power-pop hooks\, and a healthy dose of ’60s and ’70s rock influence\, balancing rough-edged energy with an ear for melody. Originally formed in Newfield\, NH\, the group debuted with As If I Ever Left in 2021\, followed by their self-titled 2024 album and the 2026 EP Fish Science. Their music has earned attention from Boston indie outlet Allston Pudding\, which praised their guitar work and lean\, groove-driven songwriting. \nKill-Kennie is a Portsmouth\, New Hampshire indie-rock project led by songwriter Austin Kennie\, with a prolific DIY catalog that moves between lo-fi home recordings\, dreamy guitar music\, and more energetic\, full-band rock. Rooted in the Seacoast’s independent music community\, the project has released everything from intimate demos and experimental recordings to the Sweet Butler EP and repetition. Kill-Kennie remains active on local and regional stages\, with recent appearances in New York City and Portsmouth and a 2026 contribution to Burst & Bloom Records’ Our Unaccompanied Voices compilation. \nWatson Park are a Somerville\, Massachusetts indie-rock band with roots in Merrimack\, New Hampshire\, where longtime friends Evan Joseph Ringle\, Ryan Sinclair\, and Troy Hartmann first began making music together. Blending ’70s classic-rock influences with contemporary indie folk\, emo\, and lo-fi guitar pop\, the group pairs warm\, melodic arrangements with deeply personal\, emotionally candid songwriting. What began as a bedroom-recording project in 2018 has grown into a prolific four-piece\, with releases including 2019’s Easy and 2024’s Laurel\, their fourth full-length album. The band’s current published lineup features Ringle\, Hartmann\, Sinclair\, and bassist Mik Jeromineck.
