The Wheel and the Spiral | the journey of life, death and liberation

The Tibetan Wheel of Life is a teaching tool and a mirror. It represents the cycle of birth and death that all beings traverse. When we look into it, we see ourselves: our pleasure, our pain, our habits – and our potential for liberation.
The Spiral Path, or the Twelve Positive Nidanas, unfold from a crack in the Wheel and represent the progressive path of human awakening or liberation. The Spiral is one of the teachings that illustrate how spiritual life changes the human mind and heart, and gives us a sense of what it is like when the goal is near, and finally, achieved.
Please join us as we finish our year of exploring The Myth of the Path with one of the richest formulations of the Buddha’s teaching!
