Known for their sprawling\, chaotic live shows\, Curls immerse audiences in a cacophonic spree of sample laden psychedelia\, deep krautrock zones and paranoid art rock anthems– drawing comparisons to CAN\, Boredoms and Roxy Music.Described by Stereogum as “acid-fried Talking Heads\,” their sound has found praise from the likes of Adrian Belew (King Crimson) and R. Stevie Moore. Despite maintaining a DIY operation\, the band has found itself on large festival stages like Pitchfork\, Lollapalooza and SXSW. They’ve toured extensively in North America\, opening for artists like Tame Impala\, Courtney Barnett\, Dehd\, Sunburned Hand Of The Man\, Rosali and David Nance. \nThe group’s debut LP American Blood is expected out late 2025 on Chicago-based label Truth Zone Records.
