The once-a-year Rye Driftwood Garden Club Plant Sale will be held Friday, May 18 from 9am-2pm and Saturday, May 19 from 9-noon. The sale takes place at 481 Central Road, Rye, NH.
This outstanding plant sale features hundreds of healthy, local plants. Rye Driftwood Garden Club members share a wide variety of plants from their own gardens. Local area nurseries and the UNH Thompson School generously contribute beautiful plants as well.
The sale features all types of perennials, pollinator plants, grasses, shrubs, annuals and herbs at very reasonable prices. There are plants for sun and shade, pots and beds. The club’s knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions and help you locate the perfect plant for any spot in your garden.
In addition to plants, the sale offers a Silent Auction with donations of goods and services from many local businesses, a raffle of garden-themed items, a bake sale of homemade goodies, and a Spring Treasures table full of gardening supplies, books, planters, vases and other garden-related items. Visitors to the sale can also learn more about the Club and join the friendly, garden-loving membership.
Proceeds from the sale are used to support RDGC’s monthly speakers’ programs and giving back projects. The Club supports the environment with scholarships to horticulture students at the UNH Thompson School and the summer UNH Plant Camp, provides landscaping grants to local organizations and maintains multiple garden spots throughout Rye.
For over 20 years, gardeners in the Seacoast and beyond look forward to this special sale, so be sure to come early for best selection!!
